17Oct02 Brothers, Yesterday I borrowed the 28Oct66 issue of Life magazine
from the archives of St Francis Univ and found the picture of Willard Whiting on page 31...The story about the Marines of 2/5 runs from pages 30-39 and cover Operation Prairie in the area of the Rock Pile and Hills 400 and 484...There are 12 pictures in the story, but no names of the Marines shown...If anyone who was with 2/5 at the time can get a copy of the story and give me names to go with the pictures I will add the information to the Fox unit history page of our website...We are going to contact Life today and see if we need their permission to use the pictures on our site..
